Mice ears were treated with croton oil to induce inflammation. One hour after increased thickness was recorded; the right ears were then treated with either croton oil (untreated), corn, olive, fish, flaxseed, chicken fat or emu oil. Six hours later, the ears were measured for thickness. The table shows the reduction of each oil compared to the croton oil.
